UBP™ Technology provides essential macro and micronutrients, complexed and stabilized by a carbon-based biopolymer, which produces a proprietary organic molucular substrate. Depending on the needs of the customer, specific nutrients are then added (in a chelated and non-chelated form) to the potassium lignosulfonate, which forms a complex with the nutrients. The resulting finished product (UBP) will be a combination of potassium lignosulfonate salts (ready to attract surrounding metal cations), lignosulfonate-complexed (added) nutrients and any untransformed plant (tree)-related materials, primarily polysaccharides.
